About me

Profile type

I am a PhD candidate within the Interdisciplinary Conservation Science Research Group (ICON Science) at RMIT and the National Environmental Science Program’s Threatened Species Recovery Hub. I have a background in conservation ecology and a passion for the Australian environment. My current research explores how we can use a strategic communications approach in conservation messaging to improve public and stakeholder engagement with biodiversity conservation. I am currently volunteering as part of the Australian Conservation Foundation’s Fellowship program as their Story Mobilisation Coordinator. I am also a keen reader and enjoy volunteering with Writers Victoria when I can find the time!
