I am a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours), where I worked alongside Deakin University and Zoos Victoria to understand the role of human-animal encounter photographs in affecting public attitudes towards zoos and wildlife. I have a strong interest in the connection and education of the general public on Conservation and Wildlife.
I have also studied a Bachelor of Science (Zoology and Ecology) at The University of Melbourne, where I completed an internship at the Handasyde laboratory and undertook research into koala abundance on French Island, as well as plumage shift timing in the Superb Fairy Wren and dawn chorus timing in urban birdlife. I have volunteered previously at a range of wildlife rescue shelters and zoos, and currently am a community and schools presenter for Wildlife Victoria.
