Spent many years working as an ecologist, land manager and research coordinator promoting wildlife conservation across Australia. Worked in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia, on Phillip Island, the Mornington Peninsula and South East Queensland. Have a strong background in on-ground and applied research along with operational management of threatening processes in Australian landscapes. Internationally, worked on and visited projects in East Timor, Spain and Central Kalimantan (Borneo). Believes in driving conservation efforts and decision making through; research, knowledge brokering, stakeholder engagement and connecting people with nature. This informs an ability to strategically plan and implement approaches towards successful outcomes that benefit people and nature.
